We are made of star stuff.

The foxes told us about this entire dark universe,
composed of unknown particles and waiting to be discovered.
They told us about
matter that does not produce light,
matter that does not absorb light
all around us.
Call it ordinary matter: the stuff of stars, planets, the Milky Way and us.
Call it dark matter: the large amounts of mystery in the clusters of the universe.

Dark Matter, Dead Fox is a love story taking place at the end of our time. Guided by the voice of an old fox, the narrator describes a troubled relationship in an ambiguous domestic setting. The failings of a contemporary society and an anxiety of a looming disaster can be sensed in the background. Images of empty spaces, learning of survival skills and dreams for a better future dominate the open-ended narrative. Thoughts about stardust and dark matter that bind together the entire universe offer glimpses of hope and solace.
